We asked Ednyr some questions about her career, and this is what she said!

Q1: How long have you been modeling, and how did you get started?

ES: I have been modeling since 2003. I was attending a car show since I am a car enthusiast, and I was asked to take a picture by a car. That picture ended up in a magazine and I was contacted by a few agencies. I then started my modeling career.

Q2: What is the most difficult thing about being a model?

ES: Sometimes I don’t know when to say no and commit to too much so I’m back to back bookings for days. It’s difficult for me to say no.

Q3: What is your favorite thing about being a model?

ES: I really enjoy working trade shows because I learn a little bit about everything. Literally everything! You never know when you will use that knowledge. I also love meeting new people that become friends after so many years of repeat business. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like work anymore, just like you are going to catch up with friends.

Q4: Has modeling taken you to any exotic locations or places you’ve only dreamed of going to?

ES: Yes! Traveling is one of the many perks of modeling. One of my favorites trip was to the Maldives. I visited those beautiful islands to do some photo shoots and it was definitely a “postcard” trip to remember.

Q5: What is your favorite project or event you have worked on?

ES: There are too many to name! I have been very blessed to work with amazing companies throughout the years that I can’t just name one company. One of the shows I like best is the Duty Free trade show. You see everything that’s sold at airports including jewelry, candy, bags, and the list goes on.
